Diddy’s moto: “From life on the streets, to sleeping on 1,500 thread count sheets. Anything is possible!”
Diddy is a Vegas-born & rescued, sweet, less-than-one year old kitten, who has a neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (or CH for short). This is a condition that he was born with- a part of his brain, the cerebellum, did not fully develop in-utero (possibly due to a traumatic injury that the his kitty mother had while she was pregnant or she experienced malnutrition or a virus/bacterial disease). The cerebellum affects balance & movement. His condition will never get worse, but it will also never get better. We say that he looks a little intoxicated when he walks around, as he frequently wobbles & falls. Other than his balance issues, he is a typical cat who loves to play, chase toys, snuggle, learn from his kitty siblings, and endless cuddles.
Oh and his floppy, bunny ear is a birth defect. When he was found on the street around 10 weeks old, he had been attacked by another animal- his floppy ear was mauled and his chin had a large cut. It took a couple of months for his floppy ear to fully heal, after which parts had fallen off. Need not to worry- his hearing has not been affected and he knows it just makes him look even cuter and more rugged.
OMG his ear is adorable!
Thank you! His little floppy, bunny ear is our favorite physical feature that Diddy has!
